DCAPA 2025 PA Student Scholarship

The DC Academy of Physician Assistants is honored to be able to offer a scholarship this year. One of the foundations of the DCAPA mission is to support the education and professional growth of PA students in the District of Columbia. As such, we will be offering one $500 award to a DCAPA student member currently enrolled in the PA program in DC. 

The application term will be open from October 26th, 2025 to December 31st, 2025. Selection of the scholarship recipient will be announced by January 31st, 2025. This scholarship is intended to be used towards costs of tuition, textbooks, educational materials, or costs of transportation to or housing at clinical rotation sites.  

To apply, follow the steps below:

1. Please make sure you are a DCAPA student member. We offer a discounted membership to PA students at $20 per year.
2. Send an e-mail to dcapaboardmembers@gmail.com with your application
   • Subject line "DCAPA Scholarship Application"
   • Applicant information:
     • Your name
     • PA Program
     • Anticipated year of graduation,
   • Your response to the following prompt as a PDF attachment without your name on it:
     • In 500 words or less, describe how you are impacting your community currently and your vision for how you would like to continue to serve your community in the future as a PA.
